Beauty around the world
This collection is a hand drawn collection of portraits of indigenous cultures around the world, inspired by a trip to the Colombian Amazon jungle. The portraits are also inspired by the photographs of Jimmy Nelson. This set of drawings is dear to our hearts because it grounds us back to the simple lives of our ancestors. Their idea of beauty was to celebrate nature and our idea of beauty is equivalent to the pursuit of perfection. I find this pursuit unhealthy and hope that we can bring ourselves back to the idea that beauty is the Art of accepting ourselves and communing with nature.
